Where did 2019 go? We’ll probably never know, but one thing is for sure, it’s time to get shopping. Pour your bourbon out of the right end of a glass horse. While that one is easily their most unique, the globe decanter which we recently received for review makes more sense for most home bars.

The globe decanter is, you guessed it, shaped like a globe, but since there aren’t any flat parts to Earth (despite what some may say), the decanter also comes with a wooden pedestal stand in your choice of finishes. The decanter itself is mouthblown glass, durably thick but not clunky, with an elegant etching of the continents all around. If you want to personalize it further, there are several variations with different glass aircraft, ships, or insignia suspended inside. At 1000ml, it’s just large enough to pour from one-handed (think a slightly bigger Blanton’s bottle). Pouring it is easier than repositioning it on its fancy stand, but hey, we all make sacrifices to look good to our friends and family.
