Drinkhacker welcomes spirits, wine, beer, and other product submissions for review (including mixers, non-alcoholic drinks, and some food products). We prefer standard, unopened, 750ml size bottles, but will review minis or sample bottles if standard bottles are not available.
There are no fees associated with product submissions. Financial compensation is not accepted for coverage. Bylined articles, sponsored posts, or guest posts are not accepted under any conditions.
Typical turnaround for reviews is three days to three months, depending on our backlog, but can be longer depending on the season. We try our best to review all submissions but cannot guarantee that all submitted products will be covered on the site. As well, please note that we do not guarantee positive coverage. If you submit a product for review on the site, please do so with the knowledge that negative reviews do happen, and that our review will comprise an honest assessment of your product, warts and all. It is not our goal to hurt the business or the feelings of beverage producers, but our ultimate responsibility is to the consumer and the reader — not the manufacturer.
While we understand the need to protect glass bottles during shipping, please try to minimize packaging material to the extent you are able. If you can ship products without a “signature required” option, they will have a better chance of arriving in a timely fashion and in good condition. If you are sending items that require refrigeration, please note this as boldly as possible on the packaging itself and liberally via email. Please use the utmost caution if shipping wine or other heat-sensitive products during the summer months.
Any presskits or photos are preferred in electronic format. Please include a standard bottle shot or two of your product with any correspondence. The larger the better; square or landscape shots are preferred. JPG or PNG format is fine.
